spent the day in tokyo with Asami…. interesting…. very very long walk down memory lane…..
went shopping at 109-Men’s…. bought some watches (nixon and a japanese brand watch… put pics up later)….
didn’t feel the need to load up on accessories… in general got plenty what i need at home….
then hit up Akihabara… electric town… while this place is full of electronics… i’m getting the feeling … sadly… that japan is no longer the leader in consumer electronics. everything you can find here… can also be found in the USA at Best Buy or online. 10 years ago it was a very different story….
then hit Shinjuku… showed Asami Kabukichou….that was a grand time…. she has never seen anything like Kabukichou… much less the hordes of “yankee” boys trying to get girls to work at Snack’s and Hostess Bars… much less the homeless and pervs all over the place. kinda like san Francisco’s Tenderloin… but more… glitzy… even saw a Yakuza group walk by….
then hit Shin Okubo.. where i use to live. Korea town in Tokyo… This was fun… ate at a Korean restaurant. they used this mint like tea leaves instead of the regular lettuce leaves for the meat wrapping. it was amazing. I think i miss shin okubo…
Roppongi. Man Roppongi.
First “My Shot : Piano Bar”. This bar… holds a special place in my heart. this is the place i first took my ex wife. and all my best loves. the girls that i loved the most in my life… somehow all made it there with me. It made me emotional to be there… i think this makes it the 9th year i’ve been there. it’s very expensive… but very very beautiful bar and location. I hope they stay in Business… and cheers to another decade of memories with them.
Then Heartland. this was good as a bar… but not so much fun as it was kinda empty. it’s a good hangout place for foreigners. drinks a bit expensive… but mostly filled with hot chicks looking to meet foreign businessmen….. Asami got hit on by some ugly guy… i got rejected by a decent looking girl…
Then Gaspanic. I won’t even go there. but if your in tokyo… you gotta hit gaspanic. it’s like that landmark no one really likes but embarassed to say they NEVER went…. young people… like barely legal… drinking watered down drinks on the cheap… and too wasted or high to talk.
then 911. this one is sweet. asami got hit on by a very handsome japanese man. he was friendly and intelligent. I got to talking with a very cute sexual therapist… looking to hook up with her next week. I couldn’t stop staring at her body. she was a bit on the voluptuous side… but amazing curves and very very friendly… pretty eyes too.
Finally got to stay in a love hotel. pics on those later… but it’s surprising i’ve been in tokyo a week without staying in a love hotel.
Hey darling, do you still remember the name of the leaves…? I remember my part! “-Nim” 🙂
Oh! and first Maid Cafe for me… It was an interesting experience.. but… I expected crowded more and “Moe~” attitude of maids… seems that the maid cafe is getting less popularity lately…
