Hangover was a GREAT movie.
Very off the wall, constantly changing, and incredibly random. Every scene was more strange/random than the one before it…. till they explained things…. then it went downhill a bit… mind you. JUST a bit….
The story follows a group of 4 guys heading to Vegas for a bachelor party for one of the (un)lucky gentlemen. First they get drunk… then the night is a blur… wake up… with a tiger in the room… a baby in the closet… hospital bracelets, a key to police car, and a bed hanging out the hotel window smashed on the statue below. Now… to figure out just what happened…
the acting… is relatively good … but only for the purpose of carrying the story forward. You see, the events are so strange that you barely have time to feel any “emotional” impulse from the actors… which is ok… they do a good enough job to keep you submerged in the story and occurances that are dealt on them.
The only negative part of the movie, is at the end when the director decides to tie everything together and EXPLAIN what happened. this … while to some degree might be viewed as necessary… The movie goes a bit overboard by explaining too much. Much could be left to the imagination….
i give this movie a 4/5
