Time’s a tickin!

So so so… what’s going on this week lately

Well my coworker just left… he was a contractor…we partied often… his contract done… now he looking for new job… maybe same company… but also there is possibility he’ll run back home to India and work for his dad’s company. I personally would take the road back home… but… what makes me sad is i won’t be able to talk and hang out with him anymore… its kinda hard for me to make buddies…

I got my new camera… a Nikon D300.. its friggin AWESOME… it’s also AWESOMELY expensive… but… i’m glad i replaced my old pro Canon 10D with this one… the 10D’s 8 year life was over…. long live Nikon…. I’ll write a review eventually on it when i’m more proficient with it….

I also bought a sweet 8 GB compact flash memory card…. its the new Sandisk Extreme IV version… friggin 60 MB/second transfer speed!!!! ummm maybe you don’t know what that is… to explain…. a sony memory stick you buy? that’s like about 14 MB/Second (1 mb is a good Jpg pic from most small cameras people have digital format)… so 14 of those pics can be copied to the card in 1 second.
a hard drive for a pc…. can copy about 40 MB/Second….
a laptop harddrive on average does 30 MB/second….
the only thing faster is maybe a high end SERVER harddrive for a company… those are almost $1,000 for 200 GB and they do about 120 MB/second!

anyway its fast.

Then… there’s the PINKBERRY time!!! oh sweetness…. in LA there’s this icecream. it’s HEAVEN!!! OK… so its made by a korean franchise… and these koreans have many franchises… pinkberry, redmango (the original), kiwiberry… and maybe a few more. they are all the same… basically its this LOWCALORIE ice cream frozen yogurt… but its not frozen yogurt… its… different. its made without any fat… and… well the flavor is kinda like… lemons, with watermellon, and vanilla… mixed… into a creamy ice thing…. its not quite yogurt… but not quite icecream.. and its not exactly sweet… kinda “sweet and sour”… and you put mochi, and mango, and other fruits… and mix them! oh i had an orgasm the first time i tried it!!!
so i’ve been looking… about 20 min online a week for 4 months now… trying to find similar place in san francisco… no go. but finally this weekend i found one here in Japantown!!!! oh guess where i’m going EVERY DAMN WEEKEND FROM HERE ON OUT!?!?! yeah… you guessed it! Jubili!!!

Also this past weekend i got piss drunk. let’s not talk about that. lately i’ve been having this weird sinus thing with the dry weather… waking up spitting a bit of blood… yuck. but only for a second… and it goes away… no cough… no pain… so i think its coming from my nose when i sleep… goign back into my throat…. hope it goes away. anyway i’m mentioning it cause when you drink you get dehydrated… so its been WORSE… when i get plastered and wake up with my face in the concrete outside my building….

and i also rekindled with my ex a bit and maybe a friendship is possible… i hope… also with someother buddies i’ve been having trouble getting along with.

to top it off… i’m going to japan next week!!! yeah baby! gonna buy dragonball-z balls!!! and put them in my pants! yeah~

and leaving you with food for thought… a new door that everyone should own. Makes you think twice about going out into the big scary world…
