So today i went to the SF auto show. There were a lot of vehicles that i’m interested in, but some of the highlights are :
Porsche:
The regular porsches were there…. boxsters/ 911s… not anything new here…
And of course there were the retro cars!
AUDI had their R8 supercar. This is a $400,000 vehicle with V8 that runs at 420 base horespower. 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds.
Chrystler had a custom 300 built for show. Check out the wheels. I rented the car recently… not the modded one obviously. it drives ok… feels pretty luxxurious. the main point is that for $30,000 you get a car that feels like a bentley… you get that bling image going.
Jaguar
had their regular showing… but their new XK series stands to put Maserati to shame. See if you can tell the difference… The maserati is $150,000… the Jaguar XK is $70,000… half the cost for those that need the math done for them.

Nissan Skyline was on show
This car is nissan’s supercar… its the uber – Fairlady Z… its coming to America next year… gonna be around $55,000. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. can easily take a corvette… and looks rock solid. I drove one of these in japan a few models back.
Saturn Sky…
Now this is a car i could enjoy. its basically a really spory MIATA… (mazda roadster)…. but at $25k, and plenty of leg room for my lanky body… with pickup of around 0-60 @ 6 seconds… it compares to the miata/celica/mini…. i dont’ like expensive cars… i like sporty cars i can drive fast , handle well…good on gas… and not spend a fortune to maintain. this should foot the bill.
Suzuki had this interesting car that had an Xbox360 built into the vehicle itself! There were 2 Xboxs… one in the front and one in the back… also there was a projector that in the cockpit that you could use to project the game you were playing… on a wall in front, or the hood of the car when you pick it up… or in the face of a cop in front of you…
there was this “Strut” road car… that’s two seats… kind of like a motorcycle. its completely electric, gets 0-60mph in 4 seconds flat…. due to it being electric… if you don’t understand how that works… go ahead and ask me… its too boring to write about…
