I recently went to see the Cirque Du Soleil Corteo show. It was magnificently beautiful. it seemed so different from circus performances i’m used to. it was very small, cozy, intimate…. the music was amazing… and the acrobatics were very beautiful… and often looked incredibly dangerous. I couldn’t believe some of the stunts done without netting or any harness. i’m sure they must practice much to get the confidence to do these things… but its still unbelievable to see….
unfortunately its not allowed to bring a camera into these shows… so i have to download some pics to show 🙂
then again… i imagine it would be dangerous for flashes to be going off while a female is 50 feet in the air… suspended by her toes… above a concrete floor…. spinning 200 rotations per minute…
