1) go to ikea on a sunday
2) pick a bed and mattress frame you like. make sure the mattress comes in many different materials, but PICK the one material you like.
3) go pick up the material and frame
4) find out that the material and frame are REALLY POPULAR, and there is another family waiting to get the same material from BEFORE you. Yet… due to them being a bit distracted by 3 screaming kids, they aren’t able to figure out which is the “muldorn” material mattress … the exact same one you want
5) find out that there is only ONE “muldorn” mattress… as they are all sold out.
6) offer to this family to take the last “muldorn” mattress, as they indeed need to feel better after raising 3 screaming devils. This is of course followed by many kind “thank you’s”
7) Realize that you feel regret for giving up the “muldorn” mattress, which was selling like hot cakes due to how good it was…. and pick up a crappy second mattress which really isn’t going to suit you….
8 ) See that the family has gone off to do more shopping, and left the 3 kids in charge of watching the only “muldorn” mattress in the store….
9) Walk up to the kids, with the crappy mattress in hand… and as they know you from your kindness from before… you say “Oh, i’m sorry, I gave you the wrong mattress…. ” as they show their appreciation with smiles, you switch out the mattress.
10) walk away with the “muldorn” you had initially intended to buy, leaving the crappy thin mattress that causes sciatica with the children for them to continue watching….
