Went to the butterfly conservatory today. Mmmmmm meh? It’s nice enough… Though I wouldn’t go again … Not sure I can even recommend going at all. They only had 3 kinds of butterflies … And moths…. None of which were very impressive. They were quite a few flying around… But nothing you wouldn’t see on a nice day in a park.
The staff, however, were very FRIENDLY. They offered me tea. Walked around with me. They work on a volunteer basis, and it’s free to go in…. So they had no intentions to hustle me or do anything of their own gain. Just companionship to walk the terrain and have someone to talk to about culture. That was pleasant. But it was a good 45 min taxi ride from my hotel. So yeah. Won’t be doing that again.
Tonight hitting a gentleman’s club to try to see if I can get a membership set up for me and my buddy this weekend to party.
