And the relaxing starts… First hit up tinder while breakfasting out by the pool…. Man I bit off more than I can chew… I started swiping and ended up chatting with over 200 matches… No way to keep up… Especially while I’m trying to relax…. Plus nothing to materialize in Samui now… Because it’s SONGKRAN!!!
So went to the gym.. And out door 120degree heat gym…where I got SUNBURNED and soaked..through the clothes. See the sun is so bad here, that you get burned through YOUR SHOES…. Yep, even my feet got sunburned, through the socks and shoes. Don’t even worry about how bad exposed areas got. Even with sunscreen.
Went to chaweng but it was already the SONGKRAN party… And people spraying. I made a mistake to get dressed nice. Water balloons being thrown in restaurants and people soaking each other without a care in the world. Ducked out and ran into a beach restaurant…. Took off all my clothes, and just walked around the restaurant in my underwear. They were doing fire show, and massage … On the beach… While ate and drank.
Came back to the villa… Went to a nearby bar, like an Irish bar…. Since these Thai can’t really make drinks well… I asked them if they let me go behind the bar and make my own cocktails. Of course they obliged… And then I started making drinks for the other clients as the temporary bartender. Met a nice Australian gentleman.
